Flash Symbol

The three type of flash symbols are graphics, button, and movie clip.

*Graphics: Reusable images that are used to create animations. A photo converted into a graphic symbol.
*Button: Used for time line navigation and they respond to mouse clicks.
*Movie Clip: Reusable pieces of flash animation They play an independent part in the movies timeline.

Organization

Organization is the key to keep everything neat and in order. Being organized helps you for future reference. If your organized all your files will be in order. It is important to be organized in web design class because you want to keep everything in order so you don't waste time looking for it. Organization helps you track the right file that you need. If you don't put it in the right folder than its not going to show up when your looking for it. But if your organized you know were everything is because everything is in its place. Being organized is better because its easier to access your information, everything looks nice and neat and in order. A link will break only if you do not place the right file with the HTML coding. If you do a single mistake or miss a letter it will mess up the entire code and it will not work.

The best way to be organized in web design class is to make a folder with your name and period so everything that you do will go into this folder. When you want to access your work or information you already know were to look for it. Organziation is the key to success, it will make everything easier and it will look better. If your not organized all your work is going to be misplaced and your going to have to start all your work over.

My First Flash animation

First i opened the Flash file. ActionScript 3.0. Then i Created two layers. I named the first layer dot and using the brush tool i drew a dot. I moved the key frame to 25. I moved the dot to the opposite corner. Then i put my mouse in between the two frames and clicked on motion tween. For the second layer i called it square and used the shape tool to draw a square i changed the color. I inserted the key frame to 25. I repeated the step were i Placed my mouse inbetween the two key frames and inserted the Shape Tween. Finally i saved my file.

My favorite movie banner

1. My initial goals for the page banner was to catch peoples attention. I wanted it to stand out so i put the text color green. Its going to describe my favorite movies. I designed it like this so its catchy and people would want to look at it.
2. I incorporated the triangles and the different colors. So thats its different and it stands out. I added many different things. Theres a lot of different colors.
3. The red triangles describe the carpet in the movies because its usually red. The bright green is in the ticket which stands for the title of the movie. The different colors are for the different posters that they have in the movie theater. The posters show the new movies that are coming out soon.
4. My new goals are to have the time so people know what time the movies starts. I also would like to have ratings so people now how good or bad the movie is. i want to add more shadows and more pictures so people have a better idea,

My name plate

I choose this name plate because it represents me. My favorite color is pink. The blue represents the sky. It explains that i am a very calm and friendly person. I love helping my friends out. The pink also represnts the way i am. Am very girly and outgoing. I like to have fun and hang out with my friends. The smudges in the pink represent that am not perfect. I make mistakes and i have learned them. My whole room is decorated with blue and pink.

My Expectations for Web Design

My name is Daniela Carvajal am a junior attending Information Technology. What i expect to learn in web design is how to make websites. I also want to learn how to use the web. Something that i expect from my peers is for us to help each other out. We learn from each other and help each other pass the class with high grades. I expect Mrs. Ramirez to help us use the web. I want to use the knowledge that i learn here in the future. I want to learn many new things like how to make a web page. My goals for this class is to successful and pass. I plan on achieving this by working hard and pushing myself to do good. I want to try my very best and finish all my work on time. I know i can do it so am not going to give up. If u want to achieve your goals you have to try in order to succeed.

What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism is when u copy somebody's work without there permission. This is an illegal act because they worked hard and your just copying off there work. Your taking credit for something that you didn't do. If they catch you doing plagiarism you have to pay consequences.

Web VS. Internet

The internet is a connection/network between all the computers in the world.
The web is a way of accessing information from the internet. Its a way of communication.
The Browsers are Safari, Internet Explorer,Firefox, and Netscape.
